A powerful fruit compound from one of the world’s five blue zones could reduce chronic joint discomfort and improve daily function — without addictive pills, painful injections, or risky procedures.
…then stop what you’re doing and read every word of this article. I promise it will be time well spent.
My name is Dr. Brian Paris, and I’m a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience treating patients with severe, disabling pain.
I’ve seen over 20,000 people who were written off by the medical system. Whose doctors deemed them as “lost causes” due to the relentless nature of their pain — pain that didn’t respond to the usual solutions. So I understand how chronic joint issues can make your life miserable:
I’ve seen firsthand how chronic joint agony can completely turn your life upside-down.
As a pain management specialist, I’m always trying to stay up to date on the latest treatments and developments. Trust me when I say, I’ve seen it all over the past 20 years. I’ve read the studies. Most of them are regurgitating old material. Stuff we already know.
But when I saw this new Stanford study published in April of 2026, I knew right away this was different. It actually sent a chill down my spine. Because it made me realize our medical system has been making a CRITICAL mistake when managing chronic joint issues.
What if I told you that the way your body processes ACUTE pain and CHRONIC pain is completely different?
And when I say different, I mean they are taking place in totally different sections of your brain. That may sound strange, but it’s true.
Check out the image below. It’s from this new Stanford study. What you’re looking at is a cross-section of a mouse brain subjected to acute and chronic pain. The researchers identified nerve cells in a pain-sensing region of the brain known as the RVM. Then they tagged these nerve cells with fluorescent proteins so they would “light up” on a brain scan.
See the nerve cells in red or pink? Those represent the ACUTE pain pathway. The researchers already knew about that pathway.
But see those nerve cells in yellow?
And the Stanford scientists had no idea this pathway even existed.
Senior researcher, Xiaoke Chen, was stunned. He was quoted on the record, saying:
“A surprise to us was that acute pain and chronic pain can be completely separate. There is a dedicated circuit that only activates after injury, which gives us the opportunity to target the chronic pain component but leave protective acute pain intact.”
Xiaoke and his team decided to chemically silence this new yellow pain circuit in the mice. As you might have guessed, their chronic pain disappeared.
But here’s where things get wild.
Next, the research team attempted to activate this new chronic pain circuit in a group of HEALTHY mice. In other words, these mice had no injuries and no pain.
Yet when they activated that yellow brain circuit? The mice instantly developed chronic pain that lasted for weeks. The Stanford team is now in the process of trying to replicate this finding in humans.
The outcome of this study is clear. If we want to relieve chronic joint aches, we need to BLOCK this new brain pathway nobody knew existed.
After I read this Stanford study, I came to an alarming realization. Our medical system is behind the times in managing chronic joint agony. In fact, we tend to address acute and chronic soreness the same way.
The same medications are used for both. NSAIDs are a great example. Got a headache? Here, take this NSAID. Oh, your back has been hurting for the past 5 years? This longer-acting NSAID should help.
Even though doctors have cracked down on opioid use, you still see them used for both acute and chronic joint misery as well.
This new Stanford study makes it crystal clear:
“Acute pain and chronic pain are SEPARATE experiences in the body. So doesn’t it make sense they should each have their own solutions for maximum relief?”
After coming to this epiphany, I began my search for answers. I was convinced there had to be a way to block this newly-discovered chronic pain circuit. As much as I hate to admit this as a fellow medical professional, I knew the answer wasn’t going to come from modern medicine.
Even if the pharmaceutical companies develop a drug that blocks this long-term pain pathway in humans, that’s YEARS away. And once that medication does exist, you know it will cost an arm and a leg. Most insurances won’t cover it. And the side-effect list will probably be a mile long.
That’s why I turned my focus to natural and alternative solutions. I’ve always been a big believer in the merit of science-backed, alternative medicine.
Yet I never imagined my search would take me to Nicoya, Costa Rica. From lush rainforests to gorgeous white-sand beaches, Nicoya is a beauty to behold. But it’s also home to one of the world’s 5 blue zones.
In Nicoya, their residents are famous for living to 100 and beyond in thriving health. But that’s not all. Chronic joint issues seem to be almost nonexistent.
These locals remain extraordinarily active into their 80s, 90s, and even 100s. They tend to their farms and gardens. They herd cattle. They ride horses. All things you can’t do when your back is in a vice or knees feel like they’re on fire.
For years, experts wondered what kept these Nicoyanos so spry and active late in life. After poring through research for months on end, I believe I finally found the answer. At least, the answer to why chronic joint discomfort seems so rare in these residents.
As it turns out, the Nicoyanos love to eat two tropical fruits every day:
But the joint-soothing magic of these fruits isn’t the fruits themselves. It’s a special enzyme they contain called bromelain. And according to the latest research, bromelain may help address that new chronic pain circuit discovered by Stanford scientists.
The joint-relieving power of bromelain is incredible.
I know firsthand from treating the worst chronic joint cases that total relief isn’t always possible. But improving their ability to function can make a WORLD of difference.
Even with the little things most people take for granted. Like playing with your grandkids… walking up stairs without worrying about your knees giving out… or weeding the garden.
“After treating the worst chronic joint discomfort cases for over 20 years, I’ve seen it all. But I’ve never seen anything like this Costa Rican ritual for soothing sore joints.”
Once I discovered that bromelain was the secret behind the Nicoyanos’ remarkable joint health, I knew I needed to find a way to make it available to anyone desperate for REAL relief.
Unfortunately, eating more pineapple and papaya isn’t realistic. Most folks won’t ever eat as much as the residents of Nicoya do every day.
So, I partnered with a company called the Healthy Back Institute. For over 20 years, they’ve been a leader in alternative joint relief that actually works. Solutions backed by the strongest science and proven to deliver relief to millions of people.
And together, we created what I believe is the BEST natural joint relief formula on the market. Why? Because it can help quiet that chronic pain circuit discovered at Stanford.
The only natural formula designed to help silence the brain circuit responsible for joint aches that never stop.
With over 6 million bottles sold, Heal-n-Soothe has transformed countless lives. It’s helped thousands of folks regain their freedom and function from joint misery. We’ll share some of their incredible results in a moment.
First you need to understand why Heal-n-Soothe is different from any joint relief formula you may have tried before.
Before you can calm the nervous system, you have to clean up the mess in your body. When you have an injury or chronic inflammation, your body creates a sticky protein called fibrin — like a biological spider web. It’s supposed to help heal wounds. But in chronic joint discomfort, the body makes too much of it. This sticky web traps inflammatory chemicals in your joints and muscles, and chokes off your blood supply.
Even worse, when this fibrin leaks into your nervous system, it acts like a match. It directly triggers the immune cells in your brain (called microglia) to start the fire of neuroinflammation.
Once the fibrin debris is cleared out, it’s time to put out the fire in the nervous system. Most pain pills only block one type of inflammation (called COX-2). But chronic joint aches are driven by multiple inflammatory pathways at once. If you only block one, the fire keeps burning.
And that’s not all. Most pain pills do not cross the blood-brain barrier to calm the neuroinflammation that keeps the pain circuit stuck in the on position.
After years of joint suffering, your nerves are exhausted and damaged by oxidative stress. Even when the injury is healed, the nerves can stay hyper-sensitive — like a car alarm that goes off when the wind blows.
To get your life back, your nervous system needs to heal and reset.
You don’t deserve to live in constant agony. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not watched from the sidelines.
I won’t insult your intelligence by promising total joint relief. Depending on the severity of your condition, becoming pain-free may not be realistic.
But what if you could get MORE relief than you’re experiencing right now? And what if you could restore some degree of daily function and independence? Would that make a positive difference in your quality of life?
I’ve seen it time and time again with my patients and clients. Imagine how much happier you’d feel to be able to take your dog for a walk without your knees screaming. To play with your grandkids without your back seizing up. To reconnect with your partner. To accept invitations from friends and have a social life again.
When you finally address chronic joint discomfort at the source — when you silence that circuit in the brain — that’s when real transformation happens. That’s when you could finally start feeling like yourself again.
Look, I understand if you’re skeptical. Especially after trying countless solutions with no real improvement in your quality of life. But as you’ve seen, Heal-n-Soothe works differently from everything else you’ve tried.
