JOINT HEALTH & WELLNESS

10 Foods Your Joints Are BeggingYou to Eat

And the one thing no food on Earth can fix

As a board-certified chiropractor for the past 20 years, I’ve helped well over 20,000 patients reclaim their lives they thought their joints had stolen from them.

In that time I’ve tested hundreds of different approaches to find out what truly works (and what doesn’t).

And everything I’ve learned comes down to remembering just two simple rules…

Joint Relief Rule #1

Rule #1 is simple: you have to stop the inflammation loop.

Most people know what inflammation is. Very few people understand that your body can get stuck in an “inflammation loop”.

Normally, inflammation helps your body respond to an injury and begin to heal. Then, as the problem resolves, that response settles down. But as you get older and your inflammatory response begins to change, it becomes a never-ending loop…

So how do you break that loop?

The easiest place to start is your grocery list.

1

Wild-caught salmon

Wild-caught salmon

Salmon is loaded with the omega-3s EPA and DHA, which help your body keep its inflammatory response in check.

2

Tart cherries

That deep red color comes from anthocyanins, antioxidants that researchers have studied for soreness and stiffness. How I use it: a small glass of unsweetened tart cherry juice in the evening.

3. Pineapple (you're probably throwing away the best part)

3. Pineapple (you're probably throwing away the best part)

Pineapple contains bromelain, a natural enzyme that helps break down proteins. Most of it sits in the tough core and stem, the part almost everybody tosses. How I use it: blend the core into a smoothie. Keep this one in mind. We'll come back to it.

4

Turmeric

Thousands of studies have looked at curcumin, turmeric's active compound, and its role in a healthy inflammatory response. The catch is that your body barely absorbs it on its own. How I use it: always with black pepper and a little healthy fat.

Extra virgin olive oil

Good olive oil contains oleocanthal. It's the reason real EVOO gives you that peppery sting in the back of your throat. Researchers found it acts on some of the same inflammation pathways as common over-the-counter remedies. How I use it: drizzled raw, not cooked on high heat.

6

Blueberries

Don't let their size fool you. Blueberries are packed with flavonoids that help protect your cells from free radical damage. How I use it: a handful every morning, fresh or frozen.

8

Broccoli

Broccoli contains sulforaphane, and early lab research suggests it may help protect cartilage, the shock absorbers between your bones. How I use it: lightly steamed. Overcooking kills the good stuff.

Garlic

Garlic

Garlic's sulfur compounds help calm the signals that keep joints swollen and tender. How I use it: crush it and let it sit for 10 minutes before cooking. That's when the active compounds form.

10

Walnuts

Walnuts carry ALA, a plant omega-3 linked in some studies to lower levels of CRP, a marker of inflammation in the blood. How I use it: a small handful as an afternoon snack.

Eat these ten foods and you've handled Rule #1. But to truly enjoy relief, you also need..

Joint Relief Rule #2

Eliminating excess fibrin

Fibrin is a sticky, web-like protein your body uses to patch things up. You need it for healing, but when inflammation lingers, that extra fibrin never gets cleared. It builds up like sludge, crowding healthy blood flow and leaving tissues stiff, tight and slow to recover.

Unfortunately it acts like collagen: your body makes it naturally, but as you get older, that production crawls to a near-halt.

The second problem is that it's nearly impossible to get them from diet alone. For example, pineapple contains these fibrin-clearing enzymes, but you’d need to eat a truckload of it to get the benefits of it. Plus most of it gets used up in digestion before it ever reaches your joints.
In other words, diet alone only solves half the problem, and you need both to find relief.
That's where systemic enzymes come in.

In our 2025 clinical study, 96% of participants had never even heard of them

yet they’re one of the most powerful and fastest ways to enjoy long-term relief and feel like your joints have aged years in reverse.

That’s why I recorded a short, free presentation that explains how they work, why your body runs low, and what to look for so you don't waste your money. It will also explain why nothing has worked for you in the past, and a few simple tricks you can use today for immediate yet long-lasting relief.
